2020.10.27: When I went to the workshop to pick up the Telecas I ordered, I was shown the body and neck that were in stock.
The top and back are made of 1P swamp ash, which is quite light.
The neck is the same spec except for the semi-hollow tele.
The body is painted in satin poly so that the conduit of the body can be seen.
The selector is almost the same effect as Suhr's 2H5way, and I put a high-pass capacitor on Vol as a test for a long time.
It is very light and the stability of arming and tuning with the locking pegs and VS100N makes for stress-free playability.
2020.12.7: I replaced the PU with a DiMarzio covered one.
When I was building this guitar, I decided on the color and parts based on the prototype MG-M that Matsumoto of B'z used in the early 90's. I happened to be able to find a used set of these PUs, but the bobbin was white, so I used a covered one.
I was surprised to find that the pitch of the genuine DiMarzio cover I bought for the front normal pitch did not match.
The Duncan cover that I happened to have was a perfect fit and I managed to make both the front and rear covered.
I think it would have been better to use black, zebra open, or bare knuckle camouflage pattern...
I didn't change the grease on the Vol pots when I assembled them last time, so I removed the high pass capacitor while I was doing it this time.
2021.2.24: I changed the PU back to the Duncan set that was installed when I built it.
2025.10.10: Although I liked the design and the accuracy of the installation, I sold it because the curved top was not so comfortable for me and I did not use it often except for Les Paul and Horizon.
