2021.12.21: The body was left over in the workshop and made from spare parts I had on hand and a neck that happened to be in Warmoth's showcase.
Only the PU, bridge, and battery box were prepared separately.
The body is an alder body with a brown body back and a maho body-like finish, based on the blue burst color shown in the gallery.
I could find some dark blue or greenish blue burst on the net, but I couldn't find a see-through blue AC-5 with vivid coloring.
I wanted to use chrome parts, so I decided to use this color because I thought it would be a good match.
2021.12.26: Wiring work is completed.
The rear direct switch needs a circuit to force the selection of the preamp, so I used pin 12.
The neck is a 59 shape and the nut width is 43mm, so the grip is similar to a Les Paul.
2022.9.16: I installed 89 in the rear to study the wiring, but the difference of output made me think it was not so convenient to use, so I replaced it with 81.
The escutcheon was also replaced with a chrome metal one to give it a more unified look.
2023.9.13: I won a bid for a used ivory EMG set, so I replaced it.
When I played with the band in the studio, the rears seemed to be gradually losing power, so I powered them up to 85 and we'll see how it goes.
I was able to get 2024.9:89 white, so I went back to the specs I had when I finished.
The problem with the volume difference may have been caused by a bad contact in the switch used for switching, and now the sound is solid.
