Originally a 490R/498T combination, but only the rear has been replaced with a 57Classic, so it does not sound as crisp as the current model (496R/496T). The current model is more powerful, but this one is easier to handle and more versatile.
The bridge may need to be replaced.

This is my 6th electric guitar, purchased in May '17.
I finally got it after searching for about a year, and I can't get rid of the reverse head. I don't care about the fact that it came with a Schecter gig bag when I bought it.
Compared to the current model that I had bought before, there are some minor differences, such as thicker and rounder body, smaller and thinner head, offset strap pins on the bridge side, etc. The current model is a perfect reissue. The current model does not seem to be a complete reissue, but the playability is the same.
The strings are the same as when I bought it (probably D'Addario), and I plan to change them to Roto Orange eventually.
