I had been struggling with pickups for a while, but I settled on my favorite combination, Duncan's SH-2n JAZZ and SH-14 Custom 5. The rear pickups have power but not too much distortion, and the front is not too boomy even in the low position. I put the same combination on the 2008 Stanard of the Chamberlain. I put the same combination on the Stanard, but the sound has more core than that. On the contrary, I feel that the overall sound is inferior. The '60 neck is thin and easy to grip.

とても気に入っていたBB1とBB2のペアなのですが・・・
ハウり過ぎで断念。いずれはポッティングなどを行ってまた乗せたいところ。
ひとまずお気に入りのペアに交換。このペア気に入っているからBBに戻すかは不明（笑）

当時、お茶の水で広告の仕事をしており、お付き合いのあった下倉楽器様で購入しました。
Classicにはピックガードが装着されていますが、Classic Plusには最初から付いていません（穴も開いていません）。でも購入時にピックガード単体が付属してきました。
ネックは'60s仕様なので、レスポールの中では細め。
Standardと違い結構癖があるので、様々なジャンルに対応出来るギターだとは思いません。
良いギターだと思うのですが・・・希少であるにも関わらず人気が無い。そんなキャラクター性にとても愛着を感じています。
普段はおとなしめに見えるボディーのトップも、光を当てると虎目がギラギラ浮いてきます。
