It is very well balanced and can be used for a wide range of genres. The rear pickup has the most power, so the volume difference is noticeable when clean. The crisp half tone from the front and rear pickups is the result of the switcheroo. However, the switcheroo is not always in good shape.

This is a locking strat type guitar with SSH layout. I took the plunge and bought it because I wanted a guitar that could do everything. But I can't play everything, so I'm practicing now. It was made in '93 so... No buzzfeiton or 2 point clamps. It is a little darker than the Bora Bora Blue of recent years and the gold parts look great. I got Mike Stern's signature on the back of the head.
