October 2023: I bought a guitar that apparently had been left unused for about 10 years with a broken neck.
Although I could have probably bought a used one with an intact neck at a similar price if the timing had been right, I haven’t seen any other guitars with genuine Grover tuners and an ABR-1 bridge, so I think this one is a bit of a rarity.
The serial number is 8 digits long, and since there are no other stamps or markings, it’s part of the regular line, though the specifics are unknown.
Immediately after acquiring it, I had a workshop glue the neck back together and level the frets.
Since the crack had extended all the way to the truss rod adjustment hole—which may have caused the repaired area to catch—I couldn’t use the adjustment tool, and because the truss rod was quite tight, I had them perform additional adjustments at a later date.
One of the original knob stickers was missing or cracked, so I replaced them with generic ones of the same type.
