Very straight-forward, active PU, powerful and resistant to noise, clear contours even when distorted, very metal-specific, and very fun to play with the EQ on the mid-high range and a tube screamer on the bridge mute. It's really fun to play it with a tube screamer and mute the 8th string in the bridge.
