I bought my first guitar about 35 years ago when I was in the third grade. 10 years later, the PU broke because of a broken wire, so I replaced it with a Gibson. The PU is totally more expensive than the body.
I have no use for it now, but I have no intention of parting with it. It's just a guitar of my memories....
