The clean is very clean and in a way it's for metal? The most amazing thing is that you can create a mild distortion sound with this by itself! It has 3 modes, HIGH GAIN/MODERN/CLASSIC, so it can be used for various genres. PEAVEY's original transformer tube makes it sound like a tube amp even though it's a transistor amp. It's amazing!
