I think it sounds like a normal Strat after I removed the booster.
Golden Age is cheap, but I think it is a good pickup. If you buy just the pickups from Japan, the shipping cost will be high.

Purchased used at a certain store in Tokyo.
It is an Ingvay model, so naturally the fingerboard is a scallop.
It had a hum pickup, but after I bought it, I changed it to Stewmac's Golden Age.
It had a built-in booster for a while, but I recently removed it.
I modified the wiring a little so that I can use front + center series, center + rear series, front - center (reverse phase) parallel, and center - rear (reverse phase) parallel in addition to the normal 5 point SW strat.
